During the flight
Nothing special to say, I had a good journey. I only heard later that during the flight Nathalie who was just behind me spent her time reading my scubadiving manual over my shoulder!
At the airport, we got the luggages back and we were happy to see the welcoming SEAS's T-shirt! We started introducing ourselves in the van.
Arriving in Saint Florent
Arnaud left us at the Hôtel du Centre, which has according to him, the advantage of being located just in front of the best ice cream parlour of the town. Moreover, it was really near the port and only 500 meters from the hotel where we had the lessons. We met the other students and teachers at 6.pm in the café le Passage.
In the Passage
We were warmly welcomed, and then we heard how Charles managed to get some extra money for his excavations. When everyone was there, we made a quick introduction of ourselves.
Then Arnaud shortly explained what we would be studying during the training course, and answered our questions. The lessons began on the next day at 9.pm.
